Notable

I'm lucky enough to see lots of fantastic, notable things happening in classrooms. Teachers rarely get the chance to get into other classrooms, so I frequently find myself wishing I could share these great things with others. So, here it goes. One note: I see many, many exciting ideas -- far more than I could possibly have the chance to post here. That said, if you have an idea you'd like to share, please send it over!

Word Wall Plus


Ok, so we've all heard of a word wall. Anne McNamara (6th grade), however, takes the word wall to the next level (as she does with many things in her classroom). Check out how each word has a visual representation of the word drawn right onto the picture. I found myself mesmerized staring at the wall while I was observing, and I'm sure her students do too.
